2025 Sitka WhaleFest Three-Day Symposium

The heart of Sitka WhaleFest is the three-day Science Symposium, where scientists and knowledge-bearers share the latest research and learning about marine life. This symposium is for everyone: speakers highlight the relevance and accessibility of their knowledge to people from all walks of life. 

The Science Symposium takes place over three days, November 7-9, 2025. There are three lectures each day beginning at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. All lectures take place in Harrigan Centennial Hall. 

Three-Day Symposium registrants can attend any and all lectures throughout the Symposium. Three-Day Symposium pass holders are also invited to a special evening reception at the Sitka Sound Science Center on Friday, November 7.
