Ocean Adventures 2025

June 23rd-June 28th, Monday-Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 9am-2pm

Campers will explore how to be safe and have fun in and around the water. Discover marine life while snorkeling, test your balance abilities on a paddleboard, and paddle a kayak on an expedition! This is the perfect camp for those looking to adventure on the water and explore marine environments. Dinner is provided during the evening programs and lunch is provided on Saturday.

Grades 7 – 9 camp expectations:  Campers in grades 7–9 should be able to sustain focus for hour-long field trips, feel comfortable swimming for short stretches in the ocean, and feel excited about time outside and stretches of physical activity. They will be expected to plan cooperatively and delegate tasks, support their peers, and be independently motivated. These campers will learn science content through direct instruction, individual experimentation and observation, group discussion, and Q&A with experts. Skills in these camps require maturity and compliance with safety instruction. Work blocks will be 60–90 minutes, and in some cases may extend for several hours.
