Adventures in Learning with the Sitka Sound Science Center

Monday, May 12 through Saturday, May 18, 2025

Programming will change day-to-day and mostly take place from 9 am - 4 pm each day.

Activity Level: A walk in the park. Certain days may include a 1-2 mile walk on a gravel trail, a tidepool exploration on our rocky shores, or a snorkel/swim in the ocean. Snorkel gear is provided. 

Payment: The base cost for this program is $4199. If you select a lodging option, additional costs will be added. A $500 deposit is required upon registration. A link will be emailed to pay the rest of tuition based on your lodging preference. 

Lodging options:

1. Elect to find your own housing in Sitka.
2. Whitmore House: stay in a private room in a dorm-style building on the Sitka Fine Arts Camp grounds ($635 for Monday night through Saturday night). Shared bathrooms and kitchen area. 
3. Tillie Paul Hostel: stay in a hostel with a private room and shared suite-style bathroom ($795 for Monday night through Saturday night). Shared kitchen area available.
